Contractions Assignment

This assignment was to create a poem that used as  many contractions as possible.

Bad Voodoo

I shouldn't have done a spell today.
I wouldn't have if it wasn't for you.
I'd hoped that you would come out to play,
But you couldn't 'cause you's gotten the flu.

I could've, should've, would've thought it'd really be okay.
I didn't think of where those sneezes would go.
I couldn't, wouldn't, didn't think that here the flu would stay.
Why'd the flu get stuck in me? I'll never know.
